Protecting the Public Interest

P4 Chapter 97 Pres Steve Gonzales Interviewed by WTNH on Clean Contracting Efforts

Our State public service workers have pushed for legislation as the remedy for numerous contracting-out crises crippling our state for more than 14 years. Thanks to our due diligence, the General Assembly passed a "clean contracting" compromise bill in special session in September, and Governor Rell signed it into law, setting a new standard for protecting our families' health, safety, and tax dollars.

Working Families Have a Voice

MPOs in SEIU CT Locals meeting with Rep Chris Murphy at his Washington DC Office in Sep 07

Our members here in Connecticut and all across the country have a historic opportunity to send new leadership to the White House to tackle the issues affecting working families in 2008. We will only succeed if we stand united and work together!
